Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter born in Mexico was born into an adored family of musicians. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to play and sing from an early age, along with her mother. She was given more formal vocal training when she reached the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move in America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she moved to southern California. She's a frequent solo performer for private events and parties, performing classical Latin American Music. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keep her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a educator. Ana is also a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is privileged to be able be able to share her love for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations preserve the traditions.
