In the midst of high school in prep, Sarah was bit by the acting bug at a very young age. The passion for acting began when her drama teacher saw her running across his lawn to make it to field hockey practice on time. He advised her that she was able to skip practice to join Richard III's actors. Sarah chose to pursue her love for this craft and further her education by studying English and theatre at Hamilton College taking classes in theatre abroad in London and Oxford in her junior year and after having graduated magna cum laude at Hamilton went on to study at Yale Drama school. She was awed by learning about the arts was aided by her parents. Her mother was as Chairperson for the English Department at the Convent of the Sacred Heart located in Greenwich CT and her father an accomplished artist. It is clear that her studies and talent were rewarded.
